A successful Healthcare Estates

18 October 2017

Last week IHEEM hosted its annual Conference, Exhibition and Awards Dinner - Healthcare Estates in Manchester.

The event attracted a record number of delegates and visitors to the two day event and this was echoed by the busy exhibition floor and conference rooms.

Keynote speakers: Simon Corben, Director and Head of Profession at NHS Estates and Facilities at NHS Improvement; Lord O'Shaughnessy the Parliamentary Under Secretary for Health at the Department of Health; and David Loughton, Chief Executive at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, led a stellar line up of speakers from across the NHS, Department of Health are academia, reinforcing the position that IHEEM retains within the sector.

The free-to-attend theatres on the exhibition floor had standing room only and the IHEEM stands were inundated with membership sign ups and enquiries.

The Awards Dinner, with snooker player Steve Davis, celebrated the success of the sector and helped raise £3576 for the charity partner - Happy Days Children Charity. Well done to all our winners and nominees.
