You are invited to the June meeting of the North West Branch in conjunction with SoPHE, which will comprise of a full day CPD Event featuring a presentation from Kohler Mira on their new valve technology. The event will be held on Wednesday 21st June 2017 at Kohler Mira Ltd, Cheltenham. A coach and refreshment will be provided for the day, the pickup and drop off point will be a central location in Manchester (TBC).

Job Vacancy - Project Support Officer (fixed term 12 months)

Come work for us! An exciting vacancy has arisen for the role of Project Support Officer. This role will give you the opportunity to add value and support key projects arising from the President's 5 themes. You will be based at Head office in Portsmouth working with a small but supportive team.

Reporting to the Executive Manager in addition to supporting the key projects, you will provide admin support which will include producing agendas and the associate papers and actions, writing minutes, presentations and attendance at meetings. You will have experience and successful track record in a similar role.

Your Key responsibilities will be:

  • Proactively take forward projects based on objectives and guidance given by the Executive Manager and or the CEO
  • Support key projects arising from the President’s five work streams
  • Ensure the administrative process for projects runs smoothly and accurately, issuing correspondence to internal and external colleagues, as necessary.
  • Provide advice and guidance for partner organisations if required.
  • Assist with making arrangements Committee meetings as necessary, including all bookings, distributing papers, and supporting documentation. Attend meetings and take minutes where required.
  • Provide admin support to the Executive Manager as required.
  • Establish projects and maintain files to ensure good governance 
  • Build strong interactive relationships with IHEEM’s partners and stakeholders.
  • Regularly review procedures and processes to ensure the most efficient and effective service possible.
  • Attend external meetings as required
  • Provide assistance to other IHEEM Managers and officers as necessary.
