Student Membership

IHEEM invites applications for Student Membership from all Students with an interest in the Healthcare Estates Sector.

Student Member Benefits: 

• Close relationship with IHEEM, the UK’s largest specialist Institute for the Healthcare Estates Sector, devoted to developing careers, provision of education and training, and registering engineers as Engineering Technician, Incorporated Engineer and Chartered Engineer

Please note:

• The maximum length of membership at this grade is 5 years, during which time members will be expected to upgrade to full membership of the Institute; IHEEM membership staff will review this aspect annually.

• This grade of membership does not grant the use of professional post-nominals, but members will be able to state that they are “A Student Member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management”

The annual subscription rate for Student Membership is £27 for 2012, with pro-rata adjustment for partial year memberships.   Payment by direct debit either annually or 10 monthly is available.
