DESCRIPTION:Course Objectives\nThis course is designed for suitably qualified Authorised Person Low Voltage (LVAP) seeking renewal of their current appointment.\nDelegates will be refreshed on the essential knowledge to continue to undertake Authorised Person (LVAP) duties to HTM 06-02 and maintain compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.\nCourse Content\n• Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.\n• HTM 06-02 Low Voltage Safety Rules and Procedures.\n• Completion of records and documentation, including:\no Permits to Work,\no Sanctions For Test,\no Limitations of Access.\n• Authorised Person (LVAP) roles and responsibilities, and safe working procedures.\n• Low Voltage distribution switchgear and equipment.\n• Uninterruptible Power System design principles and safe working.\n• Identification and location of cables.\n• Earthing systems.\n• Practical exercises designed to reinforce understanding.\nThe course concludes with a personal assessment of each delegate and from this, our training consultants will produce an individual pathway to achieve and maintain Authorised Person Authorisation.
