We look forward to seeing you at the webinar.\n \nKey Discussion points:\nFunding for new hospital schemes (including refurbishment schemes and new developments for both primary and secondary care) is a key issue for NHS Trusts.\nThe government previously set the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) a limit for how much capital they can spend. The ‘budget limit’, called the capital departmental expenditure limit (CDEL), covers all capital spending by the department and the NHS. A major part of NHS capital is currently allocated to NHS trusts and NHS foundation trusts in each existing Integrated Care System (ICS), in system-wide envelopes.
