SUMMARY:IHEEM West Midlands Branch Event
DESCRIPTION:IHEEM West Midlands Branch Event\n \nYou are invited to our next event to be held on –\n \nTuesday 27th February 2024\n                             at\nBirmingham Community Healthcare Trust,\nPriestly Wharf, Holt Street, Birmingham, B7 4BN\n \nFollowed by drinks in ‘The Sack of Potatoes’\n \nThe main event will be presented by members of the BCHT estates and facilities team and will focus on their ‘Agile Working Project’ (PW3). Confirmed details will be provided nearer the time, approximate timings are as follows –\n \n5:30pm                Arrival – Networking and refreshments\n6:00pm                Tour & talk through the space changes\n7:00pm                Retreat to ‘Sack of Potatoes’ for drinks\n \nCommenting on the event the trust team said:\n \n“With our learning from Covid the BCHC Estates & Facilities team collaborated with colleagues to embed agile working as a permanent change and improve the working environment to make it a really great place to work that benefited our colleague’s health and wellbeing. This would also be the pilot project for agile working, with the aim that elements of learning from this project could be taken to support our colleagues Trust wide.\n \nWe engaged with a company called Arcadis to help us take our colleagues on a journey that allowed them to express to us what they needed from their working environment to not only support agile working but also make it a great place to work that lifted their mood when they walked through the door. We listened to what they were telling us and from this created a vision of what the space could look like.\n \nWe collaborated with each team to understand their daily work profiles and patterns converting this into daily occupation figures that we could then use to map out where each team could be accommodated Monday to Friday and remain together as a team.\nWe then took all that information and transformed the environment to provide a space that provided the tools and environment for our colleagues to support agile working whilst improve space utilisation, productivity and efficiency”.\nWe are sure you will find this session of interest. Do note that places are strictly limited so please do book in early to avoid disappointment. Following the presentation and tour we plan to retreat to a nearby pub ‘The Sack of Potatoes’ (10 Gosta Green, Birmingham, B4 7ER) where drinks will be provided by IHEEM West Midlands. If you cannot make it to the presentation, please do book in for the ‘after-drink’s and we’ll see you there!
