DESCRIPTION:IHEEM have partnered with Air Sentry Ltd to deliver the 2022 Authorising Engineers Conference. The theme of the Conference, “Making the Standard” has been developed by the Institutes Specialist Technical Platforms. Alongside discipline specific update workshops, the programme covers many important current topics including; how national and international standards evolve and what AEs can do to influence them; a debate on the appointment of Accountable Persons (APs) and whether the process requires regulation/registration; the way forward in Scotland: independence in the role of an Authorising Engineer; and will include a panel discussion on sustainability and maintaining standards. This promises to be an interesting and lively event, a must for all Authorising Engineers regardless of technical specialism and anyone looking to progress their career through to an Authorising Engineer.
