Healthcare Fire Risk Assessment - let us have your views

27 July 2018

The IHEEM Fire Technical Platform in conjunction with NAHFO are seeking to canvass opinion on the development of a Healthcare Sector Specific Fire Risk Assessor Registration Scheme, which is one of the proposed work streams planned by the Technical Platform for 2018 and beyond.

Demonstrating the competency of those conducting fire risk assessments has been a topical debate since the introduction of the Fire Safety Order and indeed the former Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations.  Over the years, related discussions have been held at a local NAHFO branch level, at national NEC meetings as well as the annual NAHFO conference.  In the light of the Grenfell tragedy and the subsequent Hackitt Review, demonstrating competency has gained even more prominence of late.

Accordingly, we would be grateful if you could reply to this brief questionnaire, which should take no more than 5 minutes to complete.  Your responses will help inform future direction.  In addition, a summary analyse of the responses will be circulated to the NEC for onward distribution to NAHFO membership.

Fill in the questionnaire

All responses will remain anonymous. Closing date for the survey will be 12.00 noon 8th August 2018

Please feel free to circulate this link to your colleagues who may have an interest in this initiative.
