Latest guidance on Water HTM 04-01

03 July 2018

The first of two water seminars on key aspects of the HTM 04-01 guidance was held in London earlier this week.

The event featured 5 sessions exploring

  • The use of data for engineers and the importance of how too much data can be counter productive for the end user.
  • Using a BEMS as a water hygiene management system and the value of having connected solutions to help improve management decisions
  • The impact of Legionella on building water services
  • The use of point of use filters in hospitals, the benefits and implications
  • A case study example of how an NHS Trust conducted field trials using point of use filters, the challenges faces and operational impact

Feedback from delegates has been positive with most rating the event as ‘very good’ and ‘excellent’. Delegates also valued the opportunity to network with colleagues from across the sector.

If you are involved in water management within healthcare estates, then join us on 12 July in Birmingham for the next event. Have a look at the programme which includes an additional session on ‘Rapid Microbiological Methods’ presented by Elise Maynard, a past Chair of the Water Management Society.
