About WASP PFS:
WASP PFS Ltd (“Wasp”) has been global leader in diesel fuel filtration technology for the last 30 years, designing and manufacturing some of the most sophisticated, effective and reliable multi-stage fuel filtration systems in the market. We provide on-site, remote monitored and telephone based product and engineering technical support to our customers and partners along with our network of distributors around the world. In addition to fuel maintenance and filtration systems we also offer a range of filters, pumps, switching devices, cloud-based and Modbus control systems along with fuel additives and other consumables for use with our systems. Wasp is based in Hertfordshire, UK and has been at the leading edge of fuel polishing technology ever since. All our products are designed, manufactured and assembled in Britain.
Many of the world’s largest organisations have trusted WASP PFS to protect and maintain their fuel. We supply systems for both marine or land-based applications including data centres, critical infrastructure, hospitals, telecoms and the marine industry. Everyone with a critical power requirement relies on the quality of their fuel to avoid costly power outages, breakdowns and/or fuel consumption inefficiency. All our systems offer multi-stage filtration and the option for tank changeover / transfer systems, cloud monitoring and control, chemical dosing, auto draining filters, Modbus, auto priming, particulate monitoring, etc. Our team of highly skilled chemical, electrical and mechanical engineers is arguably the most knowledgeable team in the industry. We supply our systems to some of the largest and best respected companies in the world including multiple Fortune 500 companies, internet and technology giants, governments, emergency services and many others. Our systems are used in over 60 countries around the world in many of which we provide talented local product support via our team of exceptional distributors and partner organisations.
WASP systems maintain middle distillate fuels including Diesel. These contain hydrocarbons, an organic material, and in common with other organic materials, fuel break down relatively quickly and is often unusable after 6 months if not properly conditioned and maintained. The inclusion of bio-fuels in diesel over the last 10 years has only increased the rate of degradation as biofuel is hygroscopic and attracts water. Bacteria and fungus cells can be found in all fuel and water is a key nutrient that enable these organisms to grow. Additionally, fuel is prone to contamination by other impurities including dust and non-organic materials such as rust. Operation in hot, humid or maritime climatic conditions amplifies fuel degradation and contamination. Our products and systems are designed to combat impurities known as fuel sludge to meet the growing commercial, strategic and regulatory imperatives confronting our clients by ensuring power continuity.
