Airmec Essential Services

Airmec Essential Services is an independent air and water hygiene specialist. We save lives by ensuring workplaces and public buildings throughout the UK remain compliant with HSE regulations through planned maintenance programmes, risk assessment surveys, regular testing, and inspections.

We are members of the LCA (Legionella Control Association) able to provide water hygiene and water treatment services to safeguard water from contamination from Legionella or Pseudomonas. We offer a comprehensive range of services including Legionella risk assessments and audits, water sampling and water hygiene services including remedial works from removing dead legs to cleaning water tanks. All our essential water services comply with ACOP L8, HSG274 Part 2 & HTM 04-01, and are conducted in accordance with the British Standard BS8580-1:2019 Water quality and BS8558:2015.

Our ventilation and air hygiene maintenance services are designed to improve air quality and reduce fire risk. As members of BESCA we can undertake specialist hygiene work to clean kitchen extract and ventilation systems in compliance with TR19®. We undertake ongoing maintenance of specialised HTM 03-01 ventilation in healthcare premises, along with fire damper testing and remedial work.

Additionally, we test and inspect local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems, and can undertake NEBOSH accredited air quality tests to monitor exposure to hazardous substances.

Since our staff have the highest security clearances we can work in restricted and sensitive areas for governmental, military, educational, industrial, life science and healthcare clients.
