MPM Professional Engineering Services Ltd (MPM PES) is an independent engineering consultancy providing specialist technical, compliance and assurance services to the healthcare and wider engineering sectors.

With particular expertise in healthcare engineering, MPM PES supports NHS Trusts, healthcare organisations, contractors and other clients in the safe management, operation and assurance of critical engineering systems. Our services include Authorising Engineer (AE) support, Authorised Person (AP) training, engineering audits, technical assurance, compliance reviews, commissioning and validation, together with specialist advice across ventilation, electrical services, medical gases, water, lifts and pressure systems.

Our team brings extensive practical engineering experience, including backgrounds within the Royal Engineers and NHS combined with significant experience of working within complex healthcare environments. This provides MPM PES with a strong understanding of both the technical requirements and the operational realities associated with maintaining safe, resilient and compliant healthcare facilities.

MPM PES works closely with Estates and Facilities teams, Authorised Persons, contractors and other stakeholders to provide independent, pragmatic and proportionate engineering assurance. Our approach is focused on identifying risk, demonstrating compliance and providing clear, practical recommendations that can be implemented within the operational constraints of healthcare environments.

In addition to consultancy and assurance services, MPM PES provides specialist engineering training, including courses for Authorised Persons, Competent Person and Skilled Persons, helping healthcare organisations develop and maintain the competence required to safely manage their critical engineering systems.   We also have associates that deliver BOAS and equivalent courses.
