Our Story

Thames Valley Controls Ltd began its journey in 1971 as the Thames Valley Lift Company, founded in Staines, London, to serve the growing independent lift market in the UK. As demand rapidly increased, the company relocated in 1978 to Flint, North Wales, where it continues to operate today.

In 1994, we became part of Dewhurst Plc, a respected global supplier of high-quality components for the lift, transport, and keypad industries.

In September 2019, we joined the Vantage Elevator Solutions group, alongside industry leaders such as GAL Manufacturing, Hollister-Whitney, GAL Canada, Courion, Bore-Max, and Elevator Controls. This global alliance has further enhanced our innovation and service offering.
