The new quarters, in Swansea city centre, are to become the eighth location for the firm alongside its existing offices in the UK and Ireland. Archus says the move reflects the increasing demand from Welsh healthcare clients for its services – which cover the full lifecycle of healthcare services, including strategic healthcare planning, programme and project management, transformation and change management, technical advisory, and property consultancy.
Archus was recognised for the ‘instrumental role’ it played in the delivery of the Dragon’s Heart Hospital in Cardiff in 2020, which provided critical surge capacity during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The business has since gone on to support an increasing number of Health Boards and central teams at NHS Wales, providing expertise related to the planning and delivery of both capital investment projects and the way health services are provided.
Victoria Head, Commercial and Performance director, said: “The investment in our newest office in Swansea demonstrates our commitment to supporting the Welsh economy, and reflects the strong track record we have developed in Wales through our work with a growing number of valued clients. The new office will help support the ongoing development of our relationships with clients and partners in the region, and ensure we can continue to help them successfully navigate the challenges and opportunities they face in the delivery of health and social care.”
