General Overview: Undertakes leadership, planning and supervisory duties (at hospital site level) across the Trust’s built environment and associated engineering systems including the supervision of the Trust’s Directly Employed Labour (DEL) Estates workforce.
Essential experience (based on AfC person specification): At least 5 years post qualification experience of undertaking complex Estates activities preferably within an NHS Healthcare background. Experience of managing teams.
Average Salary: £21K-£24K (depending on NHS experience)
Skills: Effective team leadership skills. Good computer skills (MS office, excel outlook) Compilation of time sheets. Must be able to communicate at all levels within the Trust and externally. Self-motivated with a need to work in an orderly and precise manner. Desirable skills will include skill sets and competences that could support the role such as experience across other professional and / or trade disciplines or skills related to hobbies and interests etc. Self-motivated with a need to work in an orderly and precise manner.
