Part of Wave One of the NHS Neighbourhood Rebuild Programme, the scheme will expand community physiotherapy and occupational therapy by creating an additional 20,000 appointments each year. Completion is expected in late November 2026.
The new facilities will include a reception area, staff administration and training space, a rehabilitation kitchen for practising daily living skills, and an expanded gym equipped with specialist physiotherapy and mobility equipment.
CHP is delivering the project in partnership with Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, Bradford and Airedale Estates Partnership (LIFTCo), and Sewell Advisory.
Westbourne Green CHCC is one of 16 CHP NHS LIFT buildings selected for the Wave One NHS Neighbourhood Rebuild Programme. The centre serves diverse communities, with high health needs, where improving access to local, joined-up healthcare is a priority.

This NHS Neighbourhood Rebuild Programme project is a great example, unlocking and expanding physiotherapy and occupational therapy facilities, increasing access to rehabilitation, and strengthening the range of care available at Westbourne Green.
