TEDOM has been involved in the development, production, and operation of CHP units for over 30 years. It develops and manufactures its own combustion engines for these cogeneration units, and also modifies engines from ‘renowned global manufacturers’, offering gas CHP units with electric power ranging from 30 kW to 4.5 MW with what it says are ‘class-leading efficiencies’. Its range of CHPs is developed to not only run on natural gas but also include ranges capable of running on liquid gases, bio-gases, and hydrogen.

DTGen delivers a range of energy solutions to customers, including on-site generation, ‘to help improve energy efficiency, reduce energy bills and improve power resilience’. By using various technologies, such as gas to power generators, combined heat and power units, solar and battery energy storage systems, it provides customers with ‘a full, behind-the-meter energy system’.
From its 6.3-acre Glasgow headquarters, and further sites in Bristol and Rugby, it supplies, installs, and maintains diesel and gas generators, combined heat and power systems (CHP), solar, and BESS. Its 80,000 ft2 warehouse space accommodates workshops, a parts distribution depot, and what is reportedly the country’s biggest load test cell. UK.
During 2023, DTGen was acquired by off-grid energy solutions provider, Flogas Britain (part of DCC plc).
