The UK India Business Council has been asked by both governments to see if there are supplies or support that the business community in the UK can provide to alleviate the situation in India.
It is specifically looking for:
- Empty, refillable Oxygen cylinders with 10 litres and 45 litres LMO capacity;
- Oxygen concentrators;
- In situ oxygen manufacturing plants for hospitals;
- The anti-viral medication Remdesivir.

The British Asian Trust is running an emergency oxygen appeal, and is seeking both financial donations and links to businesses who have oxygen supplies in the UK or anywhere in the world (details here). It can also help transport oxygen to India.
