European Health Property Network workshop, 27-29 March, Copenhagen

The European Health Property Network’s 2023 workshop takes inspiration from the programme of whole system transformation of hospitals and primary/community health facilities that has taken place in Denmark from the mid-2000’s to the present day. This programme is perhaps unique in Europe, both in scope and in scale, and we hope to learn how healthcare infrastructure renewal has accompanied changes in care models, technology, clinical practice and climate awareness.

The 2023 will showcase a formidable group of expert speakers and panellists, drawn from our host country and from EuHPN’s members and associates across Europe. Within the overarching theme of whole system transformation we will spend days 1 and 2 of the workshop examining some linked sub-themes: learning from the Danish experience, integrating services and buildings, progress towards Net Zero healthcare facilities, improving the experience of the users of healthcare facilities.

We are welcoming a mix of healthcare engineers and architects, hospital clinicians and managers, health estates professionals, health policy practitioners and R&D experts to the 2023 workshop.  We hope to see you in Copenhagen.
