The UK’s largest healthcare estates event brings together thousands of professionals from across the sector. This three-day event will feature keynote sessions, expert presentations, debates, roundtables, and a major exhibition showcasing more than 230 leading companies and industry associations.
This year’s overarching theme, ‘Prevention is better than cure’, reflects the growing emphasis on proactive planning and long-term investment in healthcare infrastructure.
With significant NHS funding expected over the next decade, the event provides a unique forum for estates teams, engineers, commissioners, and healthcare leaders to explore how to design, build, and manage facilities that meet patient and staff needs – while reducing risk and operational costs.
IHEEM CEO Pete Sellars highlighted the importance of this year’s focus, saying: “Prevention is better than cure is more than just this year’s theme – it is a call to action for our entire profession.
