IHEEM has announced that this year’s Healthcare Estates Conference and Exhibition will be go head as a “hybrid” event. The announcement, published in July’s HEJ and across IHEEM and Healthcare Estates websites, sets out the delivery model for this year which includes a 5 day free online and on-demand conference.
As part of the development of the conference programme IHEEM have now established the 5 Key themes for each day:

- Infrastructure & Future Resilience
- Science & Innovation
- Workforce
- International
Melissa Glass, IHEEMs Conference and Marketing Manager said “The online platform will allow us to deliver multi-stream presentations so on each day attendees will be able to choose from an extensive number of webinars and presentations under 4-5 streams specific to the daily theme. There will also be the opportunity to see presentations from exhibitors and IHEEM Knowledge Partners.”
Pete Sellars, IHEEM CEO said: “We are now engaging with keynote speakers and populating what will be a very busy and exciting programme. Whilst we will not be delivering a live conference this year, the online and on-demand conference will offer our members and all those who register with presentations and features that will inform, inspire and hopefully entertain. Also, as part of our commitment to offer choice we will be streaming content from the online conference into Manchester Central so that people who have been invited to attend the live exhibition on those two days will be able to see what is happening online.”
