Bio: David Livingstone is a Chartered Engineer with more than 30 years of public sector service, specialising in healthcare engineering and critical ventilation systems. A registered Authorising Engineer (Ventilation) with IHEEM and the SVHSociety, he has built a career around ensuring safe and effective environments across the healthcare estate. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Livingstone was nominated as the Authorising Engineer for the London Nightingale Hospital, a role that placed him at the centre of the UK’s emergency healthcare response. His work has since continued to influence best practices in hospital ventilation and infrastructure safety nationwide.
