Bio
Mike has over 20 years’ experience in Engineering, with the past 16 years focused on healthcare projects delivered across three continents. He is technically specialised in UCV operating theatres and is highly experienced in the design, validation, and verification of critical ventilation systems.
In his current role at Stantec, Mike is appointed as Authorising Engineer (Ventilation) for several NHS Trusts and a major private healthcare provider in the UK. Alongside his AE(V) duties, he manages team members within Stantec’s MEP team and actively contributes to the wider industry. His industry support includes an annual guest lecturing position at a UK university and involvement with IHEEM’s Membership and Registrations teams, including work related to the Engineering Council. He is committed to developing people within the sector and promoting professional excellence.
