Paul Crothers, MSc, MIHEEM, MIET, MSVHSoc
Paul’s career in engineering began with 12 years’ service in the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineering Artificer onboard nuclear submarines. He gained an MSc in Building Services Engineering before working in several roles as a designer, installer, operator, maintainer and manager of engineering systems in the private and public sectors.
After 6 years training APs and AEs in several disciplines, Paul accepted his first Authorising Engineer role in 2012 and worked as an AE for 3 companies before joining GPT Consult LLP as their Senior Authorising Engineer in February 2022.
