Overview

This one day City & Guilds accredited Legionella course focuses on how to control Legionella within evaporative cooling systems. The course has been developed to ensure that you understand the unique risks posed by an evaporation cooling system and how to successfully control the proliferation of Legionella. Throughout this course you will go through the relevant statutory legislation, be shown the areas of high risk within wet cooling system designs and the subsequent disinfection, maintenance and record keeping.

Upon completing this course, you will be able to effectively manage evaporative cooling systems in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 and guidance document HSG274 Part 1, reducing the risk of Legionella within your facility.

Who is the course aimed at?

This Legionella training course has been designed to support anyone that currently or plans to work/manage evaporative cooling systems. Due to the industry demand for knowledgeable and suitably trained technicians and management who understand Legionella control within evaporative cooling systems, this course is perfect for anyone wanting to ensure its effective management and operation.

This is a great follow-on course for anyone wanting to up-skill and expand their Legionella training to include more specialised water systems often seen within larger facilities.
