Apprentices currently undertaking an Approved Apprenticeship Scheme within an NHS Trust or private sector employer within the Healthcare Estates Sector may apply to become Apprentice Affiliate members and take advantage of the full range of educational and networking events available.

REQUIREMENTS

IHEEM invites applications for Apprentice Affiliate Membership from all Apprentices undertaking an Approved Apprenticeship Scheme within an NHS Trust or private sector employer within the Healthcare Estates Sector.

Please note:

The maximum length of membership at this grade is 5 years, during which time members will be expected to upgrade to full membership of the Institute. IHEEM membership staff will review this aspect annually.

This grade of membership does not grant the use of professional post-nominals, but members will be able to state that they are “An Apprentice Affiliate Member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management”

Please note:

Student members must be in full or part time study to qualify for this grade. If working and studying an engineering course or current qualifications obtained already satisfy a higher grade, that would be the preferred route.
