PROTEC, ‘a German company with a long-standing tradition’, specialises in the production of premium X-ray systems – from X-ray tables to both analogue and digital (DR) devices, as well as specialised software. Its products are used both in human and veterinary medicine, and in in non-destructive material testing.
Dr. Markus Keussen, CEO of Reinsberg Group, emphasised the strategic significance of the latest acquisition: “X-ray systems represent a key segment of medical equipment. PROTEC’s current management team will remain in place to ensure continuity for customers and business partners. The company will continue operations under its new legal entity, PROTEC X-ray Systems GmbH.
