Course Code : IVAC
Overview
This City & Guilds Assured course will provide some guidance and understanding of Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems and the processes involved. It will also promote the knowledge required to carry out or manage work on these systems. There has been a significant increase in energy consumption related to ventilation and air conditioning in recent years. The government are now increasingly committed to significantly reducing carbon emissions. To meet these targets, it is particularly important to draw attention to the energy efficiency of these systems and how they can be improved.
Who is the course aimed at?
It is aimed at those staff who are involved with working on or overseeing work on Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems. The course will enable delegates to understand the operational theory of these systems, recent developments and any safety related aspects for their operation and maintenance.
